Google & Yahoo Email Authentication Requirements
Google & Yahoo Email Authentication Requirements for Bulk Email Senders
To follow the new requirements, bulk senders need to deploy SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, enable 1 click list header unsubscribe, and focus on message relevance.
If you send more than 5000 emails per day:
- Authenticate Your Emails with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC – Google and Yahoo required all bulk senders to implement email authentication protocols SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. This stops senders from impersonating legitimate domain names and authenticates the message source.
- Easy One-click List header Unsubscribe – This is a feature that allows email recipients to unsubscribe from emails from within the email client with a click inside the header/message body, rather than trying to find the unsubscribe link in an email footer.
- Stay Under the 0.3% Spam Rate Threshold- Google& Yahoo use several technical measures to block out spam messages. Your spam rate shouldn’t be equal to or exceed 0.3%.

Adding Google, Outlook, and Yahoo feedback loops is also a good idea to increase inbox placement (not required but a best practice).
